2024｜Advanced Steel R&D and Heat-Treatment Upgrade
In 2024, FBT added a vacuum heat-treatment furnace and upgraded its process technology. We also made important progress in steel R&D by developing PR18Ni-Co-Mo-Ti-V1 steel. Through our proprietary heat-treatment process, austenite can be fully transformed into martensite, and the grain size can reach above Grade 11 when required. This gives FBT a leading technical capability among Chinese fencing manufacturers and enables PURPLERISE. to produce higher-quality fencing blades.
2025｜Rejecting Low-Value Cheap Products
In 2025, FBT provided PURPLERISE with new sock fiber materials and fencing mask shell technologies, helping PURPLERISE further improve its product capabilities. PURPLERISE decided to move away from low-cost products with poor quality and focus instead on higher-value, higher-quality fencing equipment. In the same year, we began supplying high-quality fencing uniforms, masks, and related products to the Jordan Fencing Federation and its national team.
2026｜ Social Responsibility｜Giving Back to the Fencing Community
The growth of FBT and PURPLERISE would not have been possible without the long-term support, feedback, and trust of athletes, coaches, and the fencing community.
Since 2025, we have started providing assistance, within our capacity, to fencing athletes facing financial difficulties, supporting them in continuing their training and participation in competitions. In 2026, we further supported the Thailand Wheelchair Fencing National Team by providing equipment and resources.
Wheelchair fencing athletes continue to inspire us with their courage, perseverance, and fighting spirit. It is our honor to contribute, even in a small way, to their training and development.
2026｜PURPLERISE Became an Official FIE Supplier
In 2026, PURPLERISE became an official FIE supplier, providing FIE members with high-quality training blades, wireless scoring devices, grips, and guards. In the same year, our 350N fencing masks successfully passed testing at the IFTH laboratory, marking another important step in our product quality and international certification journey.
